We were created not just to survive, but to thrive! Making healthy changes in your exercise and eating habits can be daunting, but learning to rely on God’s wisdom in this area is the key! Start by understanding the Biblical principles of true wellness, then learn about important exercise benefits and discuss exercise options based on the workouts from Body & Soul Fitness—where Christian music powers you up to move! Experience an inspirational stretch routine set to music by a popular Christian artist. Then learn about superfoods that can help you improve your health, gain energy and promote physical health and wellness. Tastings are included!

The Biblical Principles of Financial Freedom & Prosperity -

Through financial education and discipline learn to live what it says in Matthew 6:21: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Prosperity Partners Ministry we believe in financial independence, and we know that God is more than able to help us reach our goal. In a world where it is all too common to be stressed out, frustrated, depressed and held in bondage by the chains of financial dependency we need to look to the Word of God for guidance, strength, and encouragement. We strive to show people that prosperity is not about having a lot of stuff. Prosperity is about allowing God to direct how we receive and how we use our financial resources in ways that glorify Him.

Keeping the “Honey” in the Honeymoon – 

In marriage, the passion can fizzle and the desire can fade. Sustaining the excitement in your marriage takes work. Understand how to restore and maintain the heat in your marriage and “keep the honey in the honeymoon.” The secret to having a biblically successful marriage is abiding in Christ. Trusting God to meet your needs and your spouse to understand your wants and desires.

Praise and Worship -

Our Praise Team members are modern day Levites who have the responsibility of leading the people of God into a deeper level of Worship. The heart of a true Worshiper, combined with God-given musical abilities, desires to minister to the heart of God first, then to the people of God. In this workshop, we will learn what it means to be a true Worshiper using songs and strategies to become more effective in leading our congregation in heartfelt worship. This is a singing workshop! As part of the workshop, you will learn new songs and then sing them at the Retreat worship services.

Bible Journaling

This creative Bible Journaling Workshop offers you the opportunity to explore God's Word creatively and experience a fresh approach to Bible reading. It will guide you through hands-on activities to inspire creativity in your daily walk with the Lord. This workshop is designed to focus hearts on Christ as you learn to color, paint, draw, and letter your way through God's Word. Learn to use scripture in your art journals, as part of your quiet time.

Identifying Your Spiritual Gifts - 

The word, Spiritual Gift, comes from the Greek phrase charismata or sometimes referred to as Charisma, and is defined as, "a gift of grace." This means we, as Christians, are given a "favor" or a "special gift" to do the work of ministry on behalf of, and empowered by, our Lord Jesus Christ. becomes less as He becomes more. Thus, Gifts are also a reminder of our dependence upon Christ as Lord. This workshop is a biblical approach to understanding and applying that with which God has called and gifted you!

Can You Hear Me Now? - 

There are internal and external voices that can distort our ability to discern the voice of God. Fine-tuning our spiritual ears is essential on this Christian journey. Distinguish the signs of the enemy, when he walks into your life. Discover the techniques and tools to discern the voice of God over any others and obtain the spiritual direction that you need.

What to do With The Overflow – 

In Psalm 23, God promises to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He promises that your cup will runneth over. The question is what are you going to do with your overflow? This workshop is a chance to discern and decide how you are going to serve your church, your community your family with the blessings you receive in your overflow

Fervent Prayer - 

Come create your battle plan for serious, specific and strategic prayer. Heat up your prayer life by coming to this workshop. We are empowered by God’s Spirit through intentional and focused prayer. If you learn how to pray intentionally and without ceasing, you can move the mountains in your life. Bring a journal!

Social Justice and the Black Church – 

Justice is at the core of our faith. However, if social justice work was easy, and if social activism undertaken in the religious community was simple, the world would be in better shape than it is right now. What we know is that changing society for the better—even a little bit for the better—can be a difficult endeavor. Come to get inspired and to learn how our congregation can collaborate with partner organizations in pursuit of social justice.

Embrace Change! You Can’t Get to the Promised Land Without Leaving Egypt – 

In life, change is inevitable. We lose jobs, people get sick or die, children grow up and leave the nest, friendships are broken and others are formed. How do we adapt to new situations? When the change is not something we’d like to welcome into our lives, it’s good to remind ourselves that whatever brings us closer to God is a blessing in disguise. Not necessarily by the first glimpse but when we take a closer look, we can see how it is all a part of God’s plan to prepare us for the blessings He has in store for us.
